Sari is around 8-10hrs drive from Dehradun. We will arrange transport to Sari from Dehradun. The vehicles leave at 6.00 am from Dehradun Railway Station.
We will come across many confluences of rivers and spectacular landscapes all along the drive. Once we reach Sari,we will take some rest and stay overnight in guest house. Dinner will be served at night and in order to have an ample amount of rest, we will suggest you sleep early.

The first day of the trek will be a short one. The trail is considered to be easy with a combination of ascent and descent. After leisure breakfast and briefing, we will start the trek. The trail is well-defined all the way to Deoriatal.
At the end of the trek, your surroundings open up to a grand view of Deoriatal and with Mt. Chaukhambha in the background.

Today is a bit long day, but it will be beautiful walk through the forest. After 4-5hrs of trek, you reach Rohini Bugyal, the beautiful meadows. In the month of March and April, the trail is blazing with red and pink flowers of Rhododendron. Today is the day to watch out for birds on the trail. The Syalmi campsite is just another 1hr from the Rohini Bughyal.

Todays' trek will be comparatively shorter than previous day. The trail descends all the way to Akash Kamini, a rivulet coming from Chandrashila. After crossing it, the trail gradually ascends. You will see shepherd huts made out of stones. Total trek time will be about 4 to 5 hours

Today will a long day from gradual to steep ascents. We will start the trek before sunrise. The trek from Chopta to Tungnath is accessible via a cemented pilgrim trail. The trek up to Tungnath temple is approximately 3 km. From Tungnath the steep ascent starts till the Chandrashila peak.
Once at the top of the peak, you get a 360-degree view of the mountains of Garhwal and Kumaon. Walk past a temple and see some great mountains of Uttarakhand, like Nanda Devi, Trishul, Nandaghunti, Kamet, Dunagiri, Chaukhamba, Kedar dome, Thalaysagar, Gangotri ranges, Jahanukut and more.

Drive back to Dehradun. We will arrange transport from Sari/Chopta to Dehradun. The vehicles leave at 6.00 am
