Overview

The Deoriatal Chandrashila Trek is a captivating journey in the Indian Himalayas, offering trekkers a blend of natural beauty, spirituality, and adventure. Starting from the quaint village of Sari, the trail ascends through dense forests, lush meadows, and scenic ridges, leading to the sacred Tungnath Temple, one of the highest Shiva temples in the world. The final push to Chandrashila summit rewards trekkers with a breathtaking 360-degree view of some of the most majestic peaks in the Himalayas, including Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Kedarnath. The trek is suitable for beginners and seasoned trekkers alike, providing an unforgettable experience of serene landscapes, cultural insights, and panoramic vistas.

What is included in the tour

  • Meals – From Dinner on Day 1 to Breakfast on Day 6. All meals will be veg.
  • Trek permits fees and forest camping charges.
  • Trekking equipment – Tents, sleeping bag, liners etc as required
  • Accommodation – Stay is included from Day 1 to Day 5. You will be staying in a guest house on Day 1 and Day 5 and rest of days in tents. (Twin sharing in tents)
  • Transport from Dehradun to Sari and Sari to Dehradun
  • Backpack Offloading Charges
  • Certified Trek Leader
  • Medical kit

What is NOT included in the tour

  • Food during transit to and from the base camp
  • Any type of Insurance
  • Any type of tips to the staff/crew
  • All personal, medical, evacuation and emergency expenses like extra day stay or vehicle charges due to delays, landslides, evacuation.
  • Any evacuation charges
