Day 1 – Bagdogra to Gangtok (by SUV)
Day 2 – Gangtok to Tsongmo lake to Zuluk to Aritar
Day 3 – Aritar to Taray Bhir to Namchi
Day 4 – Namchi to Pelling to Khechioplari Lake to Yuksom

DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1 - Arrive at Bagdogra Airport and ead to Gangtok (5-6 hrs)
Arrive at Bagdogara and reach Siliguri, 10 km far from Airport. You will begin your tour from Siliguri to Gangtok along Teesta River and get a first sight of the Himalayas. Post check-in at hotel in Gangtok, rest for a while. Later in the evening, we go on a test ride of the motorbikes and then a round of briefing of the entire expedition. Overnight in Gangtok
Day 2 – Gangtok to Tsongmo lake to Zuluk to Aritar (150km)
Post early breakfast, head out for the stunning glacial Tsomgo (Tsongmo) Lake — a high-altitude serene lake noted for its mirror reflections and sacred landscape. Visit Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir nearby if permits permit.Backtrack slightly and continue along the historic Old Silk Route towards Zuluk — famed for its dramatic hairpin bends and sunrise viewpoints over the Eastern Himalayas. Then ride on to Aritar, a peaceful Eastern Sikkim hamlet known for Aritar Lake (Lampokhari) and local monastery.
Day 3 – Aritar to Taray Bhir to Namchi (130km)
For our first stretch of the journey, we ride through lower hills and tea gardens heading southwest. Taray Bhir offers sweeping cliffside panoramas and a quieter, offbeat road experience. Continue onward to Namchi — the cultural heart of South Sikkim, meaning “Sky High”. Explore Siddheshwar Dham (Chardham) — an impressive pilgrimage complex with huge statues and views. Wander around the Temi Tea Estate on the way or in Namchi itself for scenic plantation landscapes.
Day 4 – Namchi to Pelling to Khechioplari Lake to Yuksom (140km)
Today we ride further west toward Pelling, which is one of Sikkim’s most scenic towns situated at the foothills of Kanchenjunga. Visit Pemayangtse Monastery and Rabdentse Ruins (ancient kingdom remains) if time permits. Later, head to Khecheopalri Lake, a sacred, serene lake helmed by Buddhist & Hindu devotees. Finish at Yuksom, a historical seat of Sikkim’s first monarchs and gateway to many treks.
Day 5 – Yuksom to Ravangla Budddha Park to Temi Tea Estate to Rumtek (130km)
From Yuksom, weave through west Sikkim hills toward Ravangla, stopping at the giant Buddha Park (Ralong Monastery area) perched with Himalayan backdrops. Ride deeper into green vistas to Temi Tea Estate, where emerald plantations stretch across slopes. Continue to Rumtek Monastery near Gangtok — one of Sikkim’s most important Kagyu Buddhist monasteries.
Day 6 – Rumtek to Lachung
Depart Rumtek heading north on the Gangtok–Lachung Highway, gradually ascending through thick forest, bridges, and rivers. You will cross settlements like Mangan and the confluence at Chungthang before reaching the mountain village of Lachung — a gateway to North Sikkim. Explore Lachung Monastery and local markets at your leisure.
Day 7 – Lachung to Yumthang to Zero Point to Dzongu (Hot Spring) (110km)
Ride early to Yumthang Valley — the famed Valley of Flowers, flanked by snowy peaks and vibrant meadows (especially in spring). If weather and permits allow, continue to Zero Point (Yumesamdong) at the head of the valley — among the highest motorable reaches in Sikkim. Return toward lower elevation and pivot west/south to Dzongu, a tribal Lepcha area with pristine nature and mineral Hot Springs perfect for unwinding after a long ride. Dzongu is one place in Sikkim where you can still experience the original Lepcha culture and practice.
Day 8 – Upper Dzongu to Gangtok (100km)
A leisure morning breakfast and then kick Start the bikes for the final lap of the tour on the way back to Gangtok. Retrace the Mangan route during today’s journey from Lingdem to Gangtok which is 70 km far. Reach Gangtok post noon and go for souvenirs shopping at MG Road for your loved ones before leaving Gangtok. Overnight in guesthouse at Gangtok.
Day 9 – Gangtok to Bagdogara Airport via Siliguri
After breakfast, start driving to Bagdogra Airport via Siliguri to reach your onward destination.
