Day 1 - Arrival in Guwahati and Mawphanlur - Umiam Lake & Mawthadraishan Peak
Day 2 - Mawphanlur to Cherrapunji - Garden of Caves & Nohkalikai Falls view point
Day 3 - Explore Cherrapunji - Kynrem Falls & Wei Sawdong Falls
Day 4 - Cherrapunji to Pontung - Arwah Caves & Mawkyrnot living root bridge
Day 5 - Pongtung to Jowai - Bangladesh Border & Krang Suri falls
Day 6 - Jowai to Guwahati Airport
DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1 - Arrival in Guwahati and Mawphanlur - Umiam Lake & Mawthadraishan Peak
Arrive at Guwahati Airport in the morning and get picked up by our representative. Then head towards Mawphanlur. Enroute, stop by at Mawthadraishan Peak for some pictures. At Mawphanlur, enjoy the raw beauty and quaint stay by the lake side.
Day 2 - Mawphanlur to Cherrapunji - Garden of Caves & Nohkalikai Falls view point
After breakfast, head towards the famous Cherrapunji. Explore the beautiful Garden of Caves and also visit the Nohkalikai waterfalls view point around sunset time. You can indulge in souvenir shopping here and then head to your stay
Day 3 - Explore Cherrapunji - Kynrem Falls & Wei Sawdong Falls
Today is for exploring waterfalls - Post breakfast visit Kynrem falls and explore Thangkharang Park. Post lunch, get ready to get into the clear waters of Wei Sawdong. Then return to your stay before dark
Day 4 - Cherrapunji to Pontung - Arwah Caves & Mawkyrnot living root bridge
Early check out from hotel and head to out to your next destination. Your first stop will be Arwah Fossil caves. Then visit Mawkyrnot to hike to the longest living root bridge! For the hiking enthusiasts, it is surely a paradise! Then reach your stay before dark. For those who are adranaline junkies, try the amazing Zipling across the huge valley at Mawkdok
Day 5 - Pongtung to Jowai - Bangladesh Border & Krang Suri falls
After checkout, head to Mawlynnong - the cleanest village in Asia. Then visit the India Bangladesh Border for some pictures before heading directy to Krang Suri Waterfalls. Indulge in amazing swim under the waterfalls and then head to Jowai for stay.
Day 6 - Jowai to Guwahati Airport
Check out from your homestay in Jowai and head back to Guwahati Airport.
