DETAILED ITINERARY 

 

DAY 1: BAGDOGRA AIRPORT TO PHUENTSHOLING (160KM | 4-5 HRS) 
On arrival, you will be received at the Bagdogra Airport and then dropped off at Bhutan India border. Pickup by another vehicle and drive to your hotel. Check-in at your accommodation in Phuentsholing. Explore the town and visit the Zangtho Pelri Lhakhang and Karbandi Monastery. 
• Overnight stay in Phuentsholing 

 

DAY 2: PHUENTSHOLING TO THIMPHU (160KM | 5-6 HRS) 
Post breakfast, you will be provided with your bikes. Take a test ride and make necessary adjustments, if any. Your first ride starts from Phuentsholing to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. Check-in at your accommodation in Thimphu and relax.  
• Overnight stay in Thimphu. 

 

DAY 3: THIMPHU LOCAL SIGHTSEEING (50KM | 2-3 HRS) 
Today you will explore Thimphu's local attractions - Visit the Jungshi Handmade Paper Factory and witness the traditional paper-making process. Explore the Folk Heritage Museum to learn about Bhutanese culture and lifestyle. Visit the Memorial Chorten, a revered Buddhist stupa. Explore Changangkha Lhakhang, a popular temple with panoramic views of Thimphu. Lastly, enjoy a stroll around the weekend market, where you can find local 
handicrafts and fresh produce.

DAY 4: THIMPHU TO PUNAKHA (70KM | 3-4 HRS + 30MINS HIKE) 
Today’s ride will be from Thimphu to Punakha. Visit Punakha Dzong which is an impressive fortress located at the confluence of the Mo Chhu and the Po Chhu River, combine to form the Puna Tsang Chu which in turn is a tributary of the mighty Brahmaputra River Explore the beautiful Punakha Valley and enjoy the scenic surroundings. Take a leisurely walk across the longest suspension bridge in Bhutan. 
• Overnight stay in Punakha. 

 

DAY 5: PUNAKHA TO PARO (130KM | 4-5 HRS) 
After breakfast, drive back towards Dochula and to Paro. Visit the National Museum of Bhutan (Ta Dzong) and explore its exhibits. Explore Paro Rinpung Dzong, an iconic fortress overlooking Paro Valley. Take a leisurely stroll around the town and immerse yourself in the local ambiance.

DAY 6: PARO TO HAA VALLEY TO PARO (120KM | 5-6 HRS) 
Ride from Paro to Haa Valley, a scenic and less-explored destination. It is situated in the south-western region of Paro is a picturesque hamlet in Bhutan. Adorned with the view of pristine alpine forest and Majestic Mountain peaks. Explore the charming Haa town and visit Lhakhang Karpo (White Temple) and Lhakhang Nagpo (Black Temple). Enjoy the serene beauty of Haa Valley and its traditional architecture. Ride back to Paro in the evening.

DAY 7: PARO - TIGER'S NEST HIKE (60KM | 1 HR + 3-4 HRS HIKE) 
Have early breakfast and drive up to the base of Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest). The most famous and sacred site among all the places in Bhutan. Embark on an early morning hike to the iconic Tiger's Nest Monastery (Taktsang). Trek through a beautiful forested trail to reach the monastery perched on a cliff. Explore the monastery and enjoy breathtaking views of the Paro valley. Descend and return to Paro. 
• Overnight stay in Paro. 

 

DAY 8: PARO TO PHUENTSHOLING (170KM | 6-7 HRS) 
Today we trace our route back from Paro to Phuentsholing. Enjoy the scenic route again and stop at viewpoints along the way. Reach Phuentsholing and check-in at your accommodation. Spend the evening relaxing or exploring the local market. 
• Overnight stay in Phuentsholing. 

 

DAY 9: PHUENTSHOLING TO BAGDOGRA AIRPORT (170KM | 5-6 HRS) 
Complete exit formalities at the immigration office in Phuentsholing and then get transfer to Bagdogra Airport. Thus, your amazing odyssey across Bhutan comes to an end with memories of a lifetime!
