Overview

Ladakh Biking Expedition is our favourite event of the year! It gets exciting every year as we keep adding on some extra adventure! We will be riding our Royal Enfields on those long serene roads and completely off roads with views you will never see anywhere else; camping in the wilderness and dancing around the campfire; and creating everlasting memories! It is definitely an adventure of a lifetime!

Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival at Leh. Acclimatization day (50 km)

Day 2 – Leh to Nubra valley via Khardungla (130 km)

Day 3 – Nubra to Turtuk to Nubra (180 km)

Day 4 – Nubra to Pangong Tso via Shayok (150 km)

Day 5 – Pangong Lake to Tsomoriri via Chushul (180 km)

Day 6 – Tsomoriri to Leh via Taglang La (200 km)

Day 7 – Leh to Nimmoo to Leh by SUV (River Rafting)

Day 8 – Departure from Leh 

Note: Upon the request of the clients, we customize the itinerary to include/exclude travel to Srinagar or Manali side journey. The cost will vary accordingly.


DETAILED  ITINERARY

Day 1 – Arrival at Leh. Acclimatization day
After the pickup from Leh Airport and get some rest in a guest house for acclimatization. Later in the afternoon, post Lunch go around the town to Leh Palace, Tsemo Monastery & Shanti Stupa by bike. The rest of the day is for relaxation and some shopping. Overnight stay at Leh.

Day 2 - Leh to Nubra valley via Khardungla
Today’s journey starts by conquering the mighty Khardung La (the World's Highest Motorable Road at a height of 18,380 ft). Driving further downhill, we enter the heart of Nubra valley. It is an amazing experience that you will remember for the rest of your life. The drive along the Shayok River to enter Hunder sand dunes is a treat for the eyes. Then we will visit the oldest and largest monastery, Diskit monastery enroute Hunder in Nubra valley. It is located at an altitude of 3142 meters. Reach Nubra by later in the afternoon and head out to explore the sand dunes. Stay at Camp in Hunder

Day 3 - Nubra to Turtuk to Nubra
Around 80km further north from Hunder (Nubra), we reach a beautiful village which was part of former Baltistan. Turtuk is one of the least explored places in Leh - Ladakh and the village still retains the pristinity with very hospitable local people. A slow stroll around the small unique village and lunch, we return to Hunder same day. Stay at Camp in Hunder

Day 4 - Nubra Valley to Pangong Tso via Shayok
Today’s route is actually a shortcut road to reach the famous Pangong Tso at 13800 ft via Shayok through rough and rocky terrain and in between water streams. The first glance of the alluring Pangong Lake and its blue waters is enough to leave a lasting impression on your mind. Your stay for the night, which is our personal favourite, is by the lake itself at Mann – 25 km away from the shooting point. Stay at Guesthouse in Mann

Day 5 - Pangong Lake to Tsomoriri via Chushul
Today’s ride is going to be rough as this is not a frequently visited route. This route is also shortcut route to reach Tsomoriri lake located at a height of 14850 ft. The beautiful Landscape, and colour changing mountains, and also a pretty Lake – Kyagyar Tso on our journey will leave awestruck throughout the journey. Enjoy the stay with a view close to the Lake. Stay at guesthouse in Karzok

Day 6 - Tsomoriri to Leh via Taglang La
Our last day of riding will be the longest as we maneuver our bikes on some kaccha roads and we finally join the Manali highway, from where, it will be an extremely smooth sail till Leh. We cross Tso kar Lake, and conquer Taglangla pass on Manali-Leh Highway on our journey. If time permits, visit Thiksey / Hemis Monastery before reaching Leh. Stay at guesthouse in Leh

Day 7 - Leh to Nimmoo to Leh | River Rafting
We give the bikers some rest today by traveling by SUV to Nimmoo village (35km from Leh). After the exhilarating rafting experience, visit Likir monastery and Hall of Fame before reaching Leh. Evening time may be spent at Leh Market for some last-minute shopping. Stay at guesthouse in Leh

Day 8 - Transfer to Airport
Transfer to Airport in the morning. Thus, your Ladakh Odyssey comes to an end with lots of new memories and experiences to take back
