DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1 – Acclimatization in Leh
This day take a rest in guest house for acclimatization. Later in the afternoon, go around the town to Shanti Stupa & Leh Palace and Local market for some shopping. Stay at Guesthouse in Leh.

Day 2 Leh to Nubra valley via Khardungla
Our ride starts with us conquering the mighty Khardung La (the World's Highest Motorable Road at a height of 18,380 ft). Riding further downhill, we enter the heart of Nubra valley. It is an amazing experience that you will remember for the rest of your life. The ride along the Shayok River to enter Hunder sand dunes is a treat for the eyes. We will visit the oldest and largest monastery, Diskit monastery enroute Hunder in Nubra valley. Once we arrive at our campsite, we get refreshed and head out to explore the sand dunes.
Like an oasis amidst the cold desert, Hunder Sand Dunes are beautiful beyond imagination. Located at an altitude of 4,000 meters, the desert is cut across by a gentle stream and the beautiful countryside. With such stunning landscapes against the backdrop of the snow-clad mountains, the Hunder Sand Dune looks nothing less than a fairy world. At the Sand Dunes, you can go on a safari on the Bactrian camel. Stay at Guesthouse/ Campsite in Hunder.

Day 3 Nubra to Turtuk to Hunder
Around 80km further north from Hunder (Nubra), we reach a beautiful village which was part of former Baltistan. Turtuk is one of the last unexplored places in Leh - Ladakh and village still retains the pristine with very hospitable local people. We return to Hunder same day. Stay at Guesthouse/ Campsite in Hunder.

Day 4 - Nubra to Pangong Tso via Shayok
Today’s route is actually a shortcut road to reach the famous Pangong Tso via Shayok through rough and rocky terrain and in between water streams. The first glance of the alluring Pangong Lake and its blue waters is enough to leave a lasting impression on your mind. Our campsite for the night, which is our personal favourite, is by the lake itself at Spangmik – 20 km away from the shooting point. Stay at Camp/Guesthouse in Spangmik

Day 5 – Pangong Tso to Karzok via Chushul/Mahe Bridge
This will be the most scenic ride of the entire trip although the entire stretch is off road. From Spangmik, we will head towards Mann and Merak. We grab our lunch at a small village Chushul and then reach one of the highest lakes in the world – Tsomoriri. Although much smaller than Pangong Tso, it looks more majestic. With less tourists visiting this place, it makes the places all the more beautiful. We reach campsite by later afternoon. Stay at Camp near the Lake

Day 6 – Karzok (Tsomoriri) to Sarchu via Tsokar
This day of riding we will cross Tsokar and Moore Plains. Tso Kar known for its size and depth, is a fluctuating salt lake situated in the Rupshu Plateau and valley in the southern part of Ladakh. As you ride ahead towards Moore Plains, the mountain slopes turn into a palette of colours. We will witness the exquisite views of this stretch which is going to prove, this is the most tranquil part of the trip. Our next destination is Sarchu and we reach there by late evening. Stay at Guesthouse/Campsite in Sarchu

Day 7 – Sarchu to Manali
We will depart early in the morning and cross the Ladakh border to enter Himachal. We drive through Sarchu (Border of Himachal & J&K states), the well-known Gata loops (Loops of the haunted), Lachulung La, Baralacha La, Zing Zing Bar. Enthralled Gata Loops start at 15,302 feet and 21 loops take you down to altitude of 13,780 feet. This road have been created out of nowhere to get human access via road to most improbable of places. The tough roads of Manali and yet beautiful valleys and scenic view is going to spell bound you!  We will reach Manali by late evening. Thus your Ladakh Odyssey comes to an end with lots of new memories and experiences to take back.

Day 8 – Depart from Manali
Depart from Manali towards Chandigarh / Delhi.
