DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1 - Acclimatization in Leh
Once we are done with orientation and briefing, we go on an acclimatization walk across the town to Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace. The rest of the day is for relaxation and some shopping. Stay at Guesthouse in Leh

Day 2 - Leh to Nubra valley
Today’s ride starts by conquering the mighty Khardung La (the World's Highest Motorable Road at a height of 18,380 ft). Riding further downhill, we enter the heart of Nubra valley. It is an amazing experience that you will remember for the rest of your life. The ride along the Shayok River to enter Hunder sand dunes is a treat for the eyes. Then we will visit the oldest and largest monastery, Diskit monastery enroute Hunder in Nubra valley. It is located at an altitude of 3142 meters. Once we arrive at our campsite, we get refreshed and head out to explore the sand dunes. Stay at Camp in Hunder

Day 3 – Nubra to Turtuk to Nubra
Around 80km further north from Hunder (Nubra), we reach a beautiful village which was part of former Baltistan. Turtuk is one of the least explored places in Leh - Ladakh and the village still retains the pristinity with very hospitable local people. A slow stroll around the small unique village and lunch, we return to Hunder same day. Stay at Camp in Hunder

Day 4 – Nubra to Pangong Tso
Today’s route is actually a shortcut road to reach the famous Pangong Tso via Shayok through rough and rocky terrain and water streams in between. The first glance of the alluring Pangong Lake and its blue waters is enough to leave a lasting impression on your mind. Our campsite for the night, which is our personal favourite, is by the lake itself at Spangmik – 20 km away from the shooting point. Stay at Camp in Spangmik

Day 5 – Pangong Tso to Hanle via Chushul
After early breakfast, we take the most unconventional route to reach our beautiful destination- Hanle. We will cross Chushul and then cross Nyoma Bridge to hit the most surreal road all the way upto Hanle. At Hanle, we will visit World's highest Astronomical Observatory Unit. Stay at homestay in Hanle

Day 6 – Hanle to Umling La to Nyoma
Early departure after delicious homely local food at the homestay. We head out to conquer the uncontested Highest Motorable Road - Umling La Pass. Take some group pictures atop and we come back to Hanle for lunch. Then move forward to stay at Nyoma village. Stay at guesthouse in Nyoma

Day 7 – Nyoma to Karzok via Yaye Tso
Wake up leisurely and after breakfast, we hop on to our bikes to explore the less explored Yaye Tso lake hidden between the valleys. Then head to Karzok village to be mesmerized by another beautiful lake - Tsomoriri before the sun sets. Reach our campsite and explore the place. Stay at Campsite in Karzok

Day 8 – Tsomoriri to Leh via Taglangla
One of the longest rides of the tour which will start with rough terrain till we hit the Leh-Manali highway. We will stop for some time at Tsokar for a quick break. Then we cross the mighty Taglangla and have lunch at Upshi. If time and energy permits, visit Thiksey monastery before reaching Leh. Evening shopping at Leh Market. Stay at Guesthouse in Leh

Day 9 - Depart from Leh
Drop to Leh Airport or continue your journey towards Manali / Srinagar by road. Thus your Ladakh Odyssey comes to an end with lots of new memories and experiences to take back.
